Why First Harvest?
The first harvest of the season, also known as shincha - yields the most delicate leaves with the richest flavour and highest concentration of L-theanine. At Namacha Matcha, we use only these top-grade leaves.
Storage
Store in an airtight container, away from light and heat. Once opened, consume within 4–6 weeks for optimal flavour.

How to prepare
Preparing usucha
Sift
Sift 2g of matcha (approx. 1 tsp) into your bowl to prevent lumps.
Water
Add 60–80ml of hot water at 70–80°C. Never boiling.
Whisk
Whisk in a rapid W-motion until a fine foam appears.
Savour
Take a moment. Hold the bowl with both hands. Breathe in. Enjoy.
