Our Story
A love for matcha
Years ago, we travelled to Japan to discover matcha at its source. From serene ceremonies in Kyoto to tasting with small-scale farmers. We fell in love with the craft and the care behind every leaf. That deep connection is at the heart of Namacha today.
What started as Matcha Hana in 2019 grew into a lifelong love for Japanese tea culture. After a promising start, we closed our first webshop but matcha never left our hearts.
Now we return with Namacha. A fresh start, a clear mission: sharing pure, honest matcha, sourced directly from small family farms in Japan. An Asian small business, rooted in the Netherlands, driven by big passion.
